Building the "Guatemalan Dream"

One of the main priorities of the countries of Central America should be to lobby the US government to protect their nationals living in the US, including those with and without documentation. However, they also need to support those migrants who are deported from the US back to their native countries.

Whether or not President Trump is successful in ramping up deportations, thousands of migrants are already being repatriated each year. Many of those returned have lived in the US for years, sometimes decades. They have skills that they can put to use upon their returns to Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. However, extortion, gang violence, and government bureaucracy can be stifling. Fortunately, Cafe Red Kat seems to have figured things out.
